Embrace the spirit of the forest in this basket-making workshop with Lea Sevigny of Joyful Wildcrafting. Using an easy coil technique, participants will be guided through all of the steps to create their own trinket basket from pine needles foraged by Lea. With a few key techniques, these impressive baskets are effortless to make and provide a mindful, relaxing experience.
All supplies will be provided, and previous basketry experience is not necessary. Weather permitting, we’ll be outside among the pine trees. Since it’s a longer class, bring a picnic snack for your comfort. Participants will receive instructions on how to create (and finish) the basket, so it’s not necessary to remain for the full class time.
